The Kent County Chamber of Commerce is excited to present a Fall FunFest and Local Business Fair for our members! Meet prospective customers and other KCCC members at our first Fall FunFest, on High Street, September 24th from 2-5pm. Now for the fun — No FunFest would be complete without a midway packed with games, prizes, food, and drink. That’s when our members get a chance to meet prospective customers by providing fun games of skill or chance. Game sponsors will select their own game (corn hole, darts, roulette, ring toss, etc) and invite guests to try their luck. They'll also provide prizes for winners or other fun giveaways, while handing out their business cards and promotional materials. It’s a great way to meet new people in a fun and engaging atmosphere. It’s also an enjoyable way to connect with other KCCC members. The Chamber will have an information center to distribute KCCC maps and brochures listing all of our members and hand out tote bags for revelers to stash all their booty in. We’ll also be dispensing beer, wine, and light food options. Member restaurants are welcomed to distribute their menus and can offer sample treats to visitors to whet their appetites going into dinnertime. Many new residents are eager to learn about the businesses and service providers in the area, and many long-time residents know only the handful of local businesses they frequent. This is chance for our members to grow their markets, make new friends, and have lots of fun in the process. KCCC is planning to hold business fairs in other population centers like Rock Hall and Galena as well, but no matter the location, all our members are welcomed to participate. We’re relying on all our members to make this a success. All it takes a little creativity, some fun giveaways, and a stack of business cards. There is no charge for game sponsors. Just show up and welcome neighbors to a good time.  Please register or email director@kentchamber.org right away to reserve your space, and get first dibs on the game you plan to bring. Game selection will be on a “first come — first served” basis, and we’ll help to make sure your game is the only one of its kind.
